MANAGING PARTNER – LONNIE WALLACE
Lonnie Wallace founded Emage Medical® in 2001. He had a desire to use his experience in the medical field to create an industry leading Aesthetic company with unparalleled personal customer service. With over 20 years of sales, sales management and marketing experience, he also plays an active role in the industry. Mr. Wallace speaks regularly at various workshops on laser tissue interaction and Medical Spa business development.
Previously, Mr. Wallace held a variety of sales management positions and was instrumental in new product development efforts for Lumenis, Sharplan, Luxar lasers and Trimedyne.
Mr. Wallace graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA, with a degree in business management. He is an instrumented rated pilot and enjoys flying a Piper Comanche for business and pleasure.
CHIEF OF OPERATIONS – LAUREN SCHEER, MBA
Lauren Scheer co-founded a successful company in San Diego in the 1980s. The company now manages approximately 700 associations in three states. She was President and head of the Nevada division headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada for twelve years.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, a Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, the Association Management Specialist (AMS) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations from the Community Associations Institute (CAI), and was a licensed Supervising Community Manager in Nevada. She was named the 2012 Nevada PCAM of the year. Lauren has assisted in writing legislation for the State of California, helped create the Nevada Association of Community Managers, written articles and courses for CAI, held lectures, seminars, conducted workshops throughout the US, and was very active with the Nevada Chapter of CAI’s Education Committee, including co-authoring the Dedicated Community Association Leader (DCAL) courses, for which the Chapter received a national award. In addition, Lauren was hand-selected to co-author, and was the lead teacher for the University of Nevada at Las Vegas’ 60-hour pre-licensing course for Community Managers.
Ms. Scheer has served on non-profit boards of directors for public, private, and charter schools, youth sports teams, libraries, churches, arts and health-related organizations, garnering the Nevada Charter School Parent of the Year in 2009 and an Outstanding Broadcast Journalist award in 1989. She was president of a non-profit charter school during the period where the school became only the second charter school in Nevada to be re-certified.
Personally, Lauren has two grown children and two grand-border-collies who are champions in extreme dog disk. She is a certified proctor for the Mensa exam, a Distinguished Toastmaster, runs half-marathons for charity and is training for a full marathon. She is also training for her private pilot license.
DIRECTOR OF SALES – LORNA DOYLE KAPLAN
Lorna Kaplan founded a wealth management firm in 2001, after several years in sales, marketing, and management. She is licensed by the NCDOI as a Property, Casualty, Life, Accident and Health Agent and Broker. She also holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses.
She graduated Magna cum Laude from Montreat College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and a concentration in Finance.
Mrs. Kaplan has served on non-profit boards of directors for public and private schools, the regional Corporate YMCA board, several local government task forces and committees, and is a Past President of the Kannapolis Rotary Club, the Kiwanis Club of Kannapolis, treasurer of multiple PTOs, and is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
Lorna enjoys spending time with her husband (Rick), her son (Jamie), her stepdaughter (Savanna) and Whiskey, their Belgian Malinois. She likes to travel and spend time outdoors.
CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM – MIKE SHRAGO, JAMIE FELTS
Mike Shrago is head of our Customer Service department. He handles bookkeeping responsibilities, shipping, inventory and customer service. Mike has a Bachelors degree in English and is a Navy Veteran. He enjoys all outdoor activities and taking long walks with his wife, Beth.
Jamie Felts is part of our Customer Service team, who assists with shipping and inventory. He has a gift for computer technology and design. Jamie has 10+ years of experience in computer maintenance and created a successful blog while attending Concord High School, North Carolina. Jamie has a passion and flair for creative cooking. He likes extreme sports, such as white water kayaking and rock climbing. In his free time, Jamie likes to take walks in the park with his girlfriend Meghan and their dogs Ava and Sadie.
